Therapeutic Techniques   More definitions need to be added here.

Our trained clinicians have techniques to evaluate, treat and develop a comprehensive treatment approach to bring you optimal health. Our techniques are safe, painless, cost efficient and effective.

Specialty therapies available

Bal-A-Vis X

(Balance, Auditory, Vision Exercises) Exercises using bean bags, balls, and rocker boards to improve brain function and academic skills. Improvements in reading, math, and spelling abilities have been demonstrated.

Body Talk

By improving inter-body communication through neuromuscular biofeedback, compromised organs, glands, and muscles are restored.

Bowen Therapy

Precisely placed soft tissue movements involving light rolling across various muscles restores function and decreases pain.

Brain Gym

Uses physical movements that enhance learning and motor abilities.

Cranial Electrotherapy Stimulation

Is used for treatment of anxiety, depression, insomnia, sensory processing, and spastic muscles via a low intensity, painless electrical micro current.

Cranial Sacral Therapy

Very light touch is used to balance the craniosacral nervous system and restore function to muscles, organs, glands, and brain.

Healing Block/Cell Memory Release

Emotional issues can create dysfunction within the body. Guided acknowledgement and release of the issues can restore the body to full function.

Handwriting

Fundamentals of handwriting such as coordination, upper body strength, hand strength, visual motor skills, and letter formation are assessed and remediated to improve printing or cursive legibility.

Interactive Metronome

Synchronizing hand and foot movements to an auditory input from the computer has demonstrated improvements in academic and athletic abilities for children and adults. Improvements in reading, math, focus, and decreased aggression have been demonstrated. Professional athletes have shown improvements in golf, baseball, soccer, and dance.

Kinesiotaping

Is an application of a flexible tape that can change muscle tone, lymphatic movement, correct movement patterns, support weak or strained muscles, improve posture, and reduce scar adhesions.

Laser

The FDA approved QRI cold laser has ultraviolet, ultra-red, and infrared lights. It is used for a specific reflex integration program, pain reduction, and tissue healing.

Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration SM (MNRI®)

Reflex integration program designed to improve motor skills, cognitive function, decrease stress, and reduce injuries by improving muscle tone and reminding the body how to properly use muscle groups following injury, birth trauma, or neurological delays.

Myofascial Release

Gentle stretches on the body release fascial restrictions, promote lymphatic flow and decrease pain.

Neurological Integration (NIS)

Linking the brain to the body releases muscle, tendon, ligament, and organ dysfunction. It also releases viruses, bacteria, parasites, and improves cortical function.

PTSD/E

Using an MNRI reflex program, trauma, memories, and emotional charge can be reduced or eliminated. Short term memory can be restored. Interpersonal dynamics can be improved. The process takes 90 minutes.

Rhythmic Movement

Utilizing basic reflexive movements enhances motor and academic skills. It decreases stress and fatigue developed from central nervous system assaults.

Sensory Processing

Utilization of activities designed to improve registration, processing, and output of sensory information by the nervous system. Improves motor skills, academics, and interpersonal skills.

Therapeutic Listening

Listening to specially formatted music can improve brain function. This improves motor skills, speech and language skills, self-care, sequencing, auditory processing, and academic performance.

Wilbarger Protocol

A pressure technique that uses a specific application of stimulation to help the brain organize sensory information, reduce sensory defensiveness, and improve motor performance.

Visceral Release

A gentle manipulation that encourages normal mobility, tone, blood circulation, lymphatic drainage, and neural regulation of internal organs and surrounding tissues.
